· The unit(s) is in its original condition and packaging
· The unit(s) and packaging may not be damaged or altered in anyway*

Requests for returns must be received in writing to the Warranty Department as stated below using Return Authorization Number issued by The Wireless Source.

* Refunds on first time orders are available except for product sold "As-Is" or where otherwise specifically stated on our sales order and/or confirmation. You will be responsible for paying freight on the returned items. The return request must be made within 15-days of the invoice date. The equipment must be returned and received by The Wireless Source within 30-days of original shipment.

Any unit(s) that is defective while in the warranty period will be repaired and/or exchanged for the same or equivalent unit(s). If the unit(s) cannot be repaired and a replacement unit(s) is not readily available, The Wireless Source at its sole discretion may refund the purchase at the current market price. Refunds or credits are not offered when the unit(s)s can be repaired or a replacement unit(s) is available.  You may be responsible for paying freight on the returned items.

The Wireless Source does not offer price protection or stock re-balancing.

Return Authorization Number:
All requests for warranty returns must be placed in writing via e-mail or faxed (248-335-4264) to our Warranty Department or electronically validated through our online Return Authorization system prior to sending phones back to The Wireless Source. The Wireless Source will issue a Return Authorization Number for all approved warranty returns. The Return Authorization Number must appear on the outside of the shipping box. Equipment sent into The Wireless Source without a Return Authorization Number will be refused and returned to the sender at their expense.

What does "handset only" consist of?

NO Battery or Charger is included for items described as  "Handset only".  However, if you should want any of the following:

(1) battery and/or charger
(2) the handset "kitted" in a white box (with or without battery/charger)
(3) refurbished (if not already), test data sheet, battery, charger, manual and "kitted" in our "Blue Box"

please let us know in your order comments. Please note, options 1-3 will include appropriate additional costs - We will contact you to confirm, prior to shipping.

What is the online RA process?

The Wireless Source's web-enabled return authorization system is a state-of-the-art online validation system for easily obtaining a RA number when returning phones to the Wireless Source which are still within their warranty period. 

Completely integrated with this B-to-B site it is designed to facilitate customer returns conveniently and efficiently.  Customers are able to generate a return authorization number 24/7 with this system.  It automatically verifies warranty periods and accuracy of requested returns on the fly.  Integrated with our inventory tracking software - this system is a great convenience to you. 

You will see a login option to the right if you are currently not logged into the site.  If you have forgotten or do not know your customer login information - you can retrieve it through email or if your email has changed - click here to have a customer service rep. update your information.

 

Identify the ESN of the phone(s) you are returning using our convenient search functions or  file import procedure.

 

Identify the reason for the return for the phone(s).

 

Electronic validatation for the phone(s) to ensure they are within the warranty period based on the ship date.

 

Confirmation of request. (this step will deliver you a Return Authorization Number that you will use when returning the phone(s) to us.

What are the "Quick Search" options I see everywhere?

The Quick Search ICON will take you to our search engine.  You may use the search engine to query our inventory to quickly find the items you are looking for. When searching for a specific model, just enter the model number (i.e.,"918", "7760", "411", "860", etc.) in the search term box.  If you are looking for a certain manufacturer (Ex: NOKIA or MOTOROLA), type of phone (ex: CDMA, 1.9 ) or a TWS item number (ex: ERI788------ETH), enter your keyword (or substring of a keyword) and select the Search Item Description option.

On our home page and throughout our site you will see an ICON "We buy phones".  Click on this ICON and you will be taken to a screen that will query you on the types of phones that you are selling.  Fill this information out and one of our purchasing agents will get back to you quickly.

How can I track shipping status for my order?

Click here for instructions on how to find out your orders' shipping status and tracking information.

  1. Choose "Customer Login" from the left menu.  Login with the customer ID and password assigned to you. (If you are logged in already -- this menu will not display a login option)

  2. Choose "Account Info" from the left menu once you are logged in.

  3. Scroll down to view your account history.  Your most recent invoices will be listed first. Click on the invoice which contains the phones you are inquiring about.

  4. Beneath the label "Shipping Status" there will be a hyperlink labeled either "Inquire" or "your tracking number".

  5. If "Inquire" is displayed - we are unable to provide electronic tracking information and clicking on this will popup a form for you to fill out.  This form will be directed to Customer Service and you will receive a prompt reply.

  6. If "your tracking number" is displayed - click on it and your shipping status will be displayed in a popup window.

The Charitable Recycling Program is a partnership with REAP2, an environmental recycling initiative by Automation Alley. Recycling cell phones will help to preserve our environment and our birds.  Cell phones should not be disposed of in landfills since they contain many toxic materials that are harmful to our environment. 

Your donated cell phone will likely be refurbished and put to further use. Refurbished cell phones are typically sent to emerging markets and developing countries for reuse.

Your donated phone may bring phone communication to a village for the very first time.
