30 Update!
As of 9/30/2005, we have raised $1350 for Katrina victims through
this recycling initiative!
A Hurricane Katrina Recycling Appeal
has been launched to
help support those left homeless in the wake of Katrina’s destruction.
If you send us your old mobile handsets and inkjet cartridges, we can turn them
into cash which we will donate to the American Red Cross who are working in the
areas hardest hit by Katrina’s destruction, and are supplying hundreds of
thousands of victims left homeless with critical necessities.
Depending on model and
condition, a used phone or inkjet cartridge can raise up to $5 for the American
Red Cross Hurricane Katrina fund. This webpage will be updated monthly to
reflect the total funds raised through this appeal.
Gather your old phones
and inkjet cartridges and use them to make a difference. If these items
are thrown in the trash, they will end up in landfill sites where they can cause
pollution. Products sent in to the Hurricane Katrina Recycling Appeal will
be refurbished and reused, or recycled.
To
support the Hurricane Katrina Recycling Appeal, just mail us your old mobile
handsets and inkjet cartridges:
